COMFORTING WORDS FROM GOD TO LEAD US THROUGH VARIOUS CHALLENGES WE ARE GUARANTEED TO ENCOUNTER

Below are a handful of powerful verses which offer us biblical assurance that, no matter what kind of challenge we face in this life, our Creator is always by our side:

WHEN FACING TEMPTATION:

1Co 10:13  There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 

WHEN FEELING FEAR:

Psa 23:4  Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

WHEN EXPERIENCING TRIBULATION:

Mat 11:28  Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 

Mat 11:29  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 

Mat 11:30  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. 

 Rom 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 

WHEN IN NEED OF STRENGTH & COURAGE:

 Jos 1:9  Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. 

2Co 12:9  And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 

Php 4:13  I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. 

WHEN IN NEED OF DIRECTION AND GUIDANCE:

Pro 3:5  Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 

Pro 3:6  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 

Pro 3:7  Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

 

WHEN IN NEED OF PEACE OF MIND:

Joh 16:33  These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. 

Joh 14:27  Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. 

Above all, when darkness surrounds us, we can always know beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Jesus Christ purchased the salvation of all believers with His own blood. If not for His interceding to God on our behalves, each and every one of us would be destined for eternal torment:

Isa 53:5  But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 

Act 16:31  And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
