YEA, HATH GOD SAID?
[Gen 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?]
One of Satan's favorite tactics is to lead us astray by misrepresenting and distorting God's Words. In the case above, it was His spoken word, but today, the exact same the same thing is done with God's written word. Despite the crystal clarity [Gen 5:2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.], we are told that, no, in fact, God didn't create us as males and females. Instead, we can determine what we are, and if what we believe we are today no longer 'feels' right tomorrow, we can change it again...and again...and again.
In a previous post, I said that I believe the primary intent of macroevolution is to 'explain away God'. If people can be convinced that their foundation resulted by random chance, and are nothing more than highly evolved animals, it becomes much easier to convince them that God isn't a necessary part of the equation. We didn't need Him to create life and we don't need Him to sustain or enhance life, and it just snowballs from there. The same can be said involving matters like marriage, sexuality, abortion, and on and on. The bible says one thing, then someone comes along and disputes what God really meant, and before you know it, the waters are so murky that black and white has been replaced by endless shades of grey. Before long, no one can know anything, which is exactly the enemy's intention: [1Co 1:19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. 1Co 1:20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?]
As we look around our world today, it feels like every social norm we've had for thousands of years is under attack. In this new age (which is really anything but new,) humans are the very top of the food chain, and we decide for ourselves what is right and what is wrong. Though technically, that isn't true, as we don't collectively arrive at these conclusions. We are instead taught to embrace these new social norms by governments, the misnomered educational (indoctrinational) system; mass media; corporations and billionaires of the world.
And this again circles around to the real purpose of macroevolution and all forms of rebellion against God's prescribed social norms: if they can convince the masses that God doesn't exist, in the absence of God, these humans with the most money and power become the de facto gods of this world, which is exactly how they view themselves! This is why it's in their best interests (both financially and to fuel their gigantic egos,) to explain away the God who created all things in any and every way they can, as their (pseudo/worldly) power increases proportionately to God's power diminishing. Do not put your faith in them, or blindly follow where they lead, because theirs is the path of death: [Pro 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.]
Instead, keep your eyes and thoughts focused on He who created all things. Let His ways guide you through the darkness of this world and into the light of eternal salvation. Not for anything you've done, but for what He has done!
[ Col 2:2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; Col 2:3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.]
[Col 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.]
